Iridology is the science of analyzing the iris of the eye to determine what organ systems in the body are strong and what areas are weak. Iridology has been practiced by many alternative health practitioners as well as licensed medical doctors for over 100 years. The analysis of the eye to determine conditions of health in the body dates back over 6000 years, however. Hippocrates, the ancient Greek physician, analyzed the iris and knew that it was a reflex organ for the whole body. The iris is a map of the entire body, much like we find in foot reflexology. In the iris, markings will show up in areas that have a weakness. The level of inflammation in that area can also be determined by how dark the marking is. We are all born with some inherited weaknesses, and through improper diet, living habits, ect., those weaknesses can eventually turn into chronic or disease states. Markings begin to show up often years before a person complains of symptoms. Having a marking in a particular area, however, does not necessarily mean that one will end up with a disease in that area. It will depend a lot upon a persons lifestyle and nutritional habits. Iridology is not a science that diagnoses disease.

 

It is my belief that if a person can be helped with their health even a little through iris analysis, then it can be something beneficial in their life. I want you to feel like you have received valuable information (that you can easily put into practice) during your appointment with me. You will receive  a report to take home that shows your body systems on a graph format that tells which systems are strong and which need support, along with information on what to do nutritionally for those weaker areas. I use a professional camera and software program during the analysis to insure accuracy. Your analysis will be held strictly confidential to protect your privacy.

 

A full analysis is $60, and typically takes between one and two hours. An additional charge will be added to mobile sessions to compensate for time and travel. Gift certificates are also available.
